Ladies, I absolutely LOVE wraps! The wraps that I use are thinner than bread and most importantly they taste absolutely delicious!! Check out this brand:
Mountain Bread wraps (Sold at some Whole Foods)
Whole Foods brand hummus or any hummus you prefer
Thin sliced oven roasted turkey
Simply spread the hummus over the wrap, add a layer of turkey and roll!
If your kids enjoy veggies, add green leaf lettuce, cucumbers, or even a slice of cheese!
You can also make these wraps with veggies and no meat. There are many options like spinach, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and peppers.
Side note: Hummus is a healthy alternative to mayo and mustard. However, it still tasty with either mayo, mustard or even both! Place some fresh fruit on the side and bon appetite! ;)
If time permits and you prefer something warm, you can always grill or panini press your wrap and add some soup to go along with it. This is one of my fall/winter faves as well!
